About

Freya Radlein

Bio: Freya is the founder of Finding Freedom with Epilepsy. She loves writing, fundraising and advocating for epilepsy in order to change the negative attitudes that remain prevalent. She is using her own daily experiences to demonstrate how the thread of epilepsy weaves in and out of life and how she has found freedom despite suffering with the condition. She has a firm belief that the root of these attitudes are fear. Fear is felt when we are faced with the unknown; therefore, education is the key and then fear dissipates along with the stigma shortly after. Freya has worked with the Cameroon Epilepsy Foundation writing and editing for fundraising campaigns. She has written a variety of articles contributing to various websites and she has undertaken her own personal campaigns fundraising locally.

  1. Freya,

Daniel Pruce – My Personal experience, was a great story! Thank you for sharing it.

Please pardon me but I wish to share a little of my story with you, and ask you share it with whomever may be able to use this to help inspire others. First off, how many authors have written a book after having 4 brain surgeries and 50% of the language section of their brain removed?
And before even thinking of writing it, did come close to dying over 25 times!
Which comes to show that all of us have the ability to overcome…

Under Siege, Epilepsy In the Open – is title of my self published book & http://www.epilepsyintheopen.com is my site (please review Advocacy page) & have https://www.facebook.com/epilepsyintheopen/

Please let me know of anyway I may help get the word out to help our societies better understand the realities of epilepsy.

    Thank you,
    Tom
